CONNECT SERVER

PROXY INTERNET

Reminder from the setup notes — opening the server connection through a proxy to access the Internet. A small step, but easy to forget during configuration.

Steps

Edit this file:

vi /etc/dnf/dnf.conf

Add this line:

proxy=http://ip_proxy:port_proxy

Then execute:

export http_proxy="http://ip_proxy:port_proxy/"
export https_proxy="http://ip_proxy:port_proxy/"

To check:

echo $http_proxy $https_proxy $HTTP_PROXY $HTTPS_PROXY
